Terms of Service

Effective date: April 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SuperCFO ("the Service"), operated by SuperCFO ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

SuperCFO is an AI-powered financial analytics platform that processes uploaded financial documents (Excel, PDF, CSV, images) to generate interactive dashboards, reports, data transforms, presentations, and other financial analysis outputs. The Service uses third-party AI models to process your data.

3. Account Registration

  • You must sign in using a valid Google account.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have authorization from your employer to use the Service for business purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or content designed to harm the Service or other users.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to process.
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or attempt to circumvent rate limiting.
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

5. Your Data

  • Ownership: You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the data they contain.
  • License: You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
  • AI Processing: Your data is sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) for analysis. These providers do not retain your data after processing. See our Privacy Impact Assessment for details.
  • Generated Outputs: Dashboards, reports, and files generated by the Service are yours to use, download, and share as you see fit.
  • Deletion: You may delete individual items or your entire account at any time. Deleted data is permanently removed from our systems.

6. Payment and Credits

  • The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Free users receive a monthly credit allowance.
  • Credits are consumed based on actual AI processing costs with a markup. Credit costs vary by feature and complexity.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Unused credits do not carry over between billing periods unless purchased as top-up credits.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, code, templates, and AI prompts, is our intellectual property.
  • You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service or its components.
  • Generated outputs (dashboards, reports, files) are yours, but the underlying templates and generation methods remain ours.

8. Service Availability

  • We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability.
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services (AI providers, cloud infrastructure, payment processors).

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Accuracy of AI-generated analysis, dashboards, or financial outputs. All outputs should be reviewed by qualified professionals before use in decision-making.
  • Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Impact Assessment.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
